R.Cole

WordPress theme

R.Cole is an AncoraThemes WordPress theme for life and business coaches, centred on booking client meetings and a settings layer that overrides parameters for individual sections instead of one global panel. Elementor handles page content plus header and footer layouts, the blog has its own feed and post-meta controls, and the vendor's TrxAddons plugin carries much of the widget behaviour. The package ships PHP, CSS and JS files; demo photography is not included.

A coaching theme that sells sessions, not a personal brand page

AncoraThemes leads its description of R.Cole with "powerful booking functionality to arrange meetings with your clients," and names Booked in the plugin compatibility list. That pairing is the reason to consider the theme at all if your income comes from booked sessions rather than product sales.

A coaching practice usually needs a page where a prospective client can see availability and claim a slot without an email thread. R.Cole supplies the presentation and the integration point. The scheduling rules, session lengths, buffers and any payment for a consultation come from how the booking plugin is configured on your site, not from the theme's colours.

The vendor also pitches R.Cole at corporate sites, business advisors, financial firms and writers. Read that as breadth in the styling, not as evidence the theme is designed as tightly for those uses as it is for coaching.

Overrides that work per section, not per site

The theme's WordPress metadata describes "a unique system of inheritance and override options" that sets "individual parameters for different sections of your site and supported plugins." The marketplace listing repeats it as Setting Inheritance and Override System, next to a stated 750+ Customizer options.

That is a different idea from one options page where every value applies everywhere. If your homepage hero and your services page need different header behaviour or colour treatment, a section-level override is what lets both exist without duplicating templates.

The 750+ figure is a vendor count, and volume is not the useful part. What matters is whether the layer you override actually contains the setting you need, so check the demo pages where two sections diverge in a way you would want to copy.

Header and footer live in Elementor

Alongside Elementor support for page content, the vendor lists the ability to "Customize Header and Footer Layouts in Elementor Page Builder." That puts the site's fixed chrome in the same editor as the pages: a new call-to-action in the footer or a rearranged top bar becomes a layout edit rather than a template edit.

Body layout is a separate decision. R.Cole offers boxed and fullwidth page layouts, so the frame around your content can be constrained with a visible edge or run to the viewport. For a site carrying long testimonials or a pricing block, that choice comes before typography.

Elementor and Elementor Pro both appear in the compatibility list. The listing does not say which header or footer elements require Pro, so verify the elements you plan to build if you intend to stay on the free editor.

Blog controls that separate writing from announcements

The blog side is specified rather than gestured at: multiple blog styles, flexible layout options, 20+ post animations, and a feed you can limit to chosen post types or categories. Post views, likes, sharing buttons and a related posts section sit on top.

The feed filter is the practical one. A coach publishing weekly articles and occasionally posting a workshop announcement can keep the two apart in the archive instead of letting everything mix, and the related posts section then works from that structure.

Post views and likes count what happens on your site, so a new blog starts at zero. Treat them as engagement signals rather than social proof until there is something to show.

TrxAddons is where much of the behaviour lives

A meaningful share of the theme's behaviour sits in TrxAddons, the vendor's companion plugin, alongside ThemeREX Updater and the default skin. The changelog makes this visible: recent releases add a menu anchor widget with scroll animation timing, a layouts widget with responsive popup panel styling, and a WooCommerce product filter with a search field for long attribute lists.

None of that is page layout. It is the layer that decides how widgets behave and how styles reach the editor, which is where substantial design changes land. It also explains why releases read like plugin notes rather than theme notes.

The block editor deserves a plain statement. Gutenberg Optimized is marked Yes, and one release explicitly addresses Gutenberg editor fonts, icons and style context. That is a different claim from saying the demo pages are block-built; the designed pages are Elementor work.

Commerce and integrations the vendor declares

WooCommerce appears in the compatibility list with version ranges 6.x, 7.x and 8.x, and the description suggests selling books or trainings through the site. For a coach that is a plausible second revenue line rather than the theme's purpose.

The wider plugin list is a set of compatibility claims, not a bundle: Advanced Popups, Contact Form 7, Cookie Information for GDPR consent, MC4WP for Mailchimp, Slider Revolution, Swiper Slider, TI WooCommerce Wishlist and an elegro crypto payment option. WPML is listed for translated sites. Each is a dependency you install and configure, so use the list to confirm your stack rather than as a shopping list.

Marketplace attributes recorded on 4 November 2026 declare WordPress compatibility from 4.9.x to 7.0.x, responsive layout, widget-ready sidebars, high-resolution assets, and support for Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome and Edge. These are vendor declarations, not results from testing the theme on your server with your plugin versions.

What the files contain, and what they don't

The ThemeForest file list is PHP, CSS and JavaScript, a conventional theme package with no Photoshop or Sketch source, so a designer starts from the rendered CSS.

Images are the bigger constraint. The vendor states that photographs used in the live preview are copyrighted to their respective owners and are not included in the template, with sources listed. One-click demo installation gives you layout, styling and page structure; the people and office photography that makes the demo feel like a coaching practice is yours to license.

For a practice site that imagery does a lot of the persuading, so budget for a shoot or a stock licence. Demo text needs replacing too.

Deciding on R.Cole

Choose it if enquiries have to become booked sessions and you want page layout, header and footer under your own control in Elementor. The per-section override system is the second reason, and it pays off once the site grows past a single page design.

Look elsewhere if you want booking built in without a separate plugin, if you need ready-made block-editor page designs, or if you need a deep shop rather than a small store for books and trainings. The WooCommerce support is real but secondary to the coaching workflow.

Two things are worth confirming on the current demo: that the booking plugin route matches how you actually schedule clients, and that the WordPress version you run sits inside the declared range.

Questions & answers

Does R.Cole include a booking system, or do I need a plugin?

The vendor describes built-in booking functionality and names Booked in the plugin compatibility list. Scheduling rules, availability and any payment for sessions are configured in that plugin layer, so plan for the setup work rather than expecting a finished booking flow.

Can I edit the header and footer, or only page content?

The vendor lists header and footer layout customisation in Elementor alongside page content editing. The listing does not specify which header or footer elements require Elementor Pro, so check the elements you need against the editor version you plan to use.

Are the demo photos included in the theme files?

No. The vendor states the preview images are copyrighted to their owners and not included, and lists the image sources. The package itself contains PHP, CSS and JavaScript files, so you will need your own photography or a stock licence.

ZikZag

ZikZag is WebGeniusLab's Elementor theme for consulting firms, agencies and startups, and its real organising idea is a two-layer settings model: site-wide theme options and a drag-and-drop WGL header builder sit above per-page metabox overrides, so a single landing page can break from the global design without forking the whole site. The vendor also describes 30+ WGL modules, 15+ blog layouts, 10+ portfolio layouts with infinite scroll or Load More, bundled Revolution Slider compatibility beyond the recorded attribute list, and a changelog that includes an AJAX local file inclusion fix in 1.4.8 and PHP 8.2 work in 1.4.2.
