Product templates inside Quick View
Quick View can use Single Product Templates, according to the recent CodexThemes changelog. That connects the compact product preview to the same template system used for the product itself. The next maintenance entry addresses related and upsell products in those previews, so the changelog is more informative here than a general claim of WooCommerce compatibility.
Other shop controls include a Brands taxonomy in the Product Grid query, variation swatches in product carousels and control over a product video's position in the gallery. These options address three different jobs: choosing which products appear, selecting a variation and arranging the media that explains the product.
Navigation and grids can carry different designs
The vendor describes multiple header layouts, widget-based footers, mega menus and portfolio or gallery management. Grid views support infinite scrolling and load-more pagination. A portfolio can therefore keep its project list compact while individual project pages use a more expansive presentation.
Recent menu controls include backgrounds for mega-menu containers, spacing settings for Custom Menu elements and a navigation-bar position setting for hamburger headers. These are specific adjustments to the navigation structure, rather than reasons to switch the entire site to another demo.
Fonts, visibility and page-level behaviour
TheGem offers a font manager for Google Fonts and custom webfonts, together with responsive visibility settings for content. The changelog also describes work on variable fonts in the Self-Hosted Fonts module. A team with its own brand typeface can use that part of the theme instead of limiting its identity to the demo typography.
The one-click optimisation module includes a Delay JavaScript Execution setting by post type. Scroll-to-top controls can also be set by post type or for individual pages and posts. These are configuration features documented by the vendor; they are not measured speed results for a finished website.
Read builder support separately from demo counts
The current marketplace attributes list Elementor, Elementor Pro and WPBakery Page Builder, with Gutenberg optimisation marked Yes. The changelog refers to continuing compatibility work for both Elementor and WPBakery. It would be misleading to describe TheGem as a WPBakery-only theme.
The longer sales description still includes older demo counts and older design references. Those figures are not a reliable way to count the current library. The useful decision points are the supported editor, the product or portfolio layout you need and the controls documented for it. WPML and RTL support are also described for translated sites.
