Steeler

WordPress theme

Steeler is 7iquid's WordPress theme aimed at factories, laboratories, engineering and construction companies, built for the free version of Elementor with a one-click demo importer, more than six homepage layouts and 90+ UI blocks. The vendor's changelog shows where upkeep goes: demo data rebuilt release after release and Elementor layout errors patched as recently as December 2025.

The demo data is the product being maintained

Read Steeler's changelog as a maintenance record and one activity repeats more than any other. "Make sample Demo Data" appears from version 1.0.1 in May 2021 through version 3.0 in June 2024, and 3.0 later changed the demo data server outright. Version 3.1, dated 18 December 2025, adds two smaller entries in the same area: undefined-variable errors fixed on some Elementor layouts, and Font Awesome 4 support switched on after a successful demo import.

That tells you what kind of theme this is. The one-click importer is the front door, and the vendor keeps rebuilding what sits behind it rather than shipping a fixed starter and moving on. For you, that means the layout you inherit should reflect recent Elementor output. It also means the imported content is placeholder material the vendor controls and revises; your own product copy, plant photography and certifications replace it.

The changelog was read on the marketplace listing on 4 November 2026. It records what the vendor changed, not how the theme performs on your host or PHP build.

Six homepages and 90+ blocks set your editing range

The vendor lists more than six homepage layouts and more than ninety UI blocks and options, plus dedicated page, Services and About templates. These are finished Elementor sections — a plant overview hero, a capability grid, figures, testimonials, a contact or quote block — that you rearrange rather than draw from scratch.

Decide early whether your site's pages resemble that set. A manufacturer presenting services, certifications, a facility tour and an enquiry route can assemble most pages from existing blocks and spend its time on content. A page that needs a specification table, a configurator or a searchable parts list falls outside the library and gets built by hand.

The vendor names the free version of Elementor as the builder, and it appears in the compatible-with list only as an additional entry alongside Elementor Pro. Nothing states Pro is required, so plan on the free plugin and check with the vendor if a planned section leans on Pro widgets. Gutenberg Optimized is marked Yes, but the theme's own section library lives in Elementor, so a block-editor build would use the theme's styling without its prepared blocks.

Display elements built for heavy industry

Steeler's feature list is mostly presentation: carousel elements, section video backgrounds, a sticky header, multiple header and footer options, unlimited colour settings, and a theme options panel tied to the WordPress Customizer. Revolution Slider comes with the vendor's package, and typography runs to 700+ Google Fonts with Font Awesome icons.

For this audience those tools do real work. A looping video behind a facility overview, a carousel stepping through machine lines or accreditations, and a header that keeps a quote request visible while someone scrolls a long capability page are all standard moves on an industrial website.

What the list does not describe is anything product-shaped. WooCommerce appears as "WooCommerce Ready" and in the compatibility list at 5.x through 8.x, with no product template, catalogue layout or filter named. If you sell parts or equipment, treat the shop as a standard WooCommerce install wearing the theme's styling and confirm the product pages suit your catalogue before committing.

What the theme does not supply: records

Nothing in the description defines custom post types for products, projects, certifications or case studies. Repeated content therefore lives as pages built from blocks, and a change to a shared detail — a certification number, a plant address — is edited wherever it appears.

The gap matters most for catalogues. If you need filterable records that grow over time, with fields and taxonomies behind them, Steeler leaves you to organise that yourself, either through a plugin or a custom structure. Grids of service cards and equipment photos are fine; a database of them is not what this theme is.

Declared compatibility stays a declaration

The listing, observed on 4 November 2026, records compatibility with Elementor and Elementor Pro, WooCommerce 5.x through 8.x, and WPML. Files included are PHP, HTML, CSS and JS — no PSD or SCSS sources — so visual changes run through the theme options and the builder rather than from design files.

The browser list still names IE11 beside Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Edge, which suggests how far back this theme's declared range reaches rather than anything about current rendering. WPML support is a vendor claim, which is relevant if a refinery or laboratory group publishes in several languages but is not a verified pairing.

Version 3.1 added "Tested up to" and "Requires PHP" headers to the theme stylesheet, so those values may be readable in the theme file itself. Neither a compatibility attribute nor a stylesheet header settles how the theme behaves with your plugin set, and that question is answered on a staging install.

What the evidence settles

Steeler makes most sense for a company that wants a corporate industrial presence — home, services, about, capabilities, contact, a small shop on the side — and would rather start from prepared Elementor sections than from a blank canvas. The demo data has been rebuilt consistently, and the most recent release touches the Elementor layouts themselves.

It makes less sense when structure is the requirement. No custom post type is described for products, projects or certifications, and repeated content has no shared record to live in. Settle that before you build, because it changes the plan rather than the styling.

Questions & answers

Does Steeler need Elementor Pro?

The vendor names the free version of Elementor as the page builder, and Pro appears only in the compatibility list. No statement in the available description makes Pro a requirement, so plan on the free plugin and ask the vendor if a specific section depends on Pro-only widgets.

Are the demo images included with the import?

The description does not say. Supply your own plant photography, staff portraits and product shots; a manufacturing site depends on those images far more than on its colour scheme.

Can I manage equipment or parts as structured records?

Not as described. The evidence lists WooCommerce as compatible (5.x through 8.x) with no product template or catalogue structure named, and no custom post types for products or projects. A filterable catalogue needs a plugin or a custom structure.

Act

Act, by KlbTheme, is organised around raising money rather than around a page builder: the seller lists a crowdfunding system, GiveWP, Stripe, PayPal and offline donation routes, and templates for causes, events and a WooCommerce shop. This article follows the donation toolkit, the cause and event structure, the WPBakery-first editing workflow with its later Elementor demo, and the theme options panel that controls fonts and typography. Declared compatibility and archive contents are read as the seller's claims, not as tested results.
