Reina

WordPress theme

Reina is an Edge-Themes WordPress theme for spa, wellness and beauty salon sites. The vendor's feature list puts its weight on treatment-business tooling: Booked appointment booking, a Timetable schedule plugin and Slider Revolution are stated as included, and booking appears as two separate shortcodes. Pages can be composed in Elementor with Qi Addons or in Gutenberg blocks with Qi Blocks, with WooCommerce and QODE Wishlist handling retail.

Booking is split into a calendar and an appointments view

The vendor's feature list separates two booking shortcodes: Booked Calendar and Booked Appointments. That is a more useful distinction than it first looks. A calendar element lets a visitor see availability and pick a slot on the page; an appointments element is a read-oriented display suited to a therapist roster or a service table. Because both are shortcodes, either can sit inside a page section next to a price list or beneath a treatment description rather than being locked into one fixed booking page.

Booked – Appointment Booking for WordPress is stated as included with the theme, valued by the vendor at $49. Its behaviour — deposit handling, staff rules, multi-location logic or anything beyond calendar and appointment display — comes from that plugin, not from Reina, so check Booked's own documentation for what your operation needs before assuming the theme extends it. A third shortcode, Working Hours List, covers the simpler case: a weekly hours block for a footer or contact page.

Three included plugins change what you buy separately

Alongside Booked, the vendor states that the Timetable Responsive Schedule plugin ($49) and Slider Revolution ($109) ship with the theme. Those figures are the vendor's own valuations of the marketplace bundle, not a measured saving. The practical effect is that a treatment business can publish a schedule, take appointments and build a hero slider without sourcing three separate products.

The changelog shows the vendor maintains those dependencies rather than treating them as a one-off: the most recent entry updates Slider Revolution and Timetable Responsive Schedule, and an earlier release updated the Booked plugin alongside them. Which versions your copy carries is a different question from which versions those plugins' authors currently publish, so check the packaged list rather than assuming you are on the latest release of each.

Pick one editor route and stay in it

The vendor describes compatibility with Elementor and with Qi Addons for Elementor in one arrangement, and with Qi Blocks for Gutenberg in another. The marketplace attributes also list Block Editor, WPBakery Page Builder and WPML as compatible-with items, and mark Gutenberg Optimized as Yes. Those are declarations attached to the listing; they are not a record of testing on your stack.

Running two canvases on one site is the decision with a cost. Each route brings its own spacing controls, typography settings and widget library, and keeping Elementor-built pages and block-built pages looking like one site takes ongoing discipline. The changelog is a reminder that the two are maintained separately — one release records a fix for Elementor section options failing when Element Caching is enabled, and the following release records improved Elementor compatibility. Choose the editor your team will actually use and build the whole site there.

Retail sits beside the treatment menu

The vendor declares WooCommerce compatibility and full compatibility with QODE Wishlist for WooCommerce, which lets visitors build and share lists of products they are considering. Three shortcodes — Product List, Product Category List and Product Banner — put products and category groupings inside Elementor or block layouts, so a retail line can appear inside a treatment page rather than only in the default shop grid.

The shop side also implies a plugin stack. Version 1.10 added QODE Quick View for WooCommerce as a required plugin, and version 1.9 added QODE Wishlist as required; later releases keep adjusting cart presentation, including empty cart styles, cart shipping styles, and preventing cart widgets from loading on the cart page. If you plan to sell, read the current required-plugin list before you scope the store — a WooCommerce shop on Reina is not WooCommerce alone.

Header and type settings built for a logo that has to survive context

Four header types are listed — Standard, Minimal, Centered and Divided Sliding — with behaviours including a side area and integrated search. Each context gets its own logo slot: an optional separate logo for the mobile header, separate styles for the mobile header, separate logos for light and dark header versions, and a third logo for the sticky state. That is more logo management than a small site usually wants, but it addresses a real problem for a salon brand — a wide wordmark that reads well on desktop can fail at mobile width or disappear when the header turns dark over a hero image.

Typography is configurable globally and separately per responsive breakpoint, with 900+ Google Fonts available and eight icon font packs shipped. Treat the font count as library size rather than guidance; a spa site usually reads better with one text face and one display face than with the range on offer.

Demo photography is not part of the deal

The vendor lists nine predesigned homepages with one-click demo import, and a child theme is included for customisation. Every demo depends on calm, high-quality imagery, and the vendor states plainly that the demo images are presentational only and cannot be used on your own site without a separate stock license. On a theme whose default look is largely photographic, budget for a shoot or licensed stock before launch — otherwise you will be judging the layouts with the wrong pictures in them.

Declared compatibility, observed on 4 November 2026, covered WordPress 6.5.x through 7.0.x, WooCommerce 9.x and 10.x, and Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Edge. That range needs confirming against the plugin set you intend to run, particularly the required QODE plugins and the bundled Booked and Timetable versions.

Questions & answers

Does Reina give me appointment booking without buying a separate plugin?

The vendor states that Booked – Appointment Booking for WordPress is included with the theme, valued at $49. What booking can actually do — availability rules, deposits, staff logic — is defined by that plugin, so read Booked's documentation for anything beyond calendar display and appointment listings.

Can I build the site in Gutenberg instead of Elementor?

The vendor declares compatibility with Qi Blocks for Gutenberg and marks the theme Gutenberg Optimized as Yes, with Elementor plus Qi Addons described as the other route. Both are declarations in the listing; they do not mean every demo layout exists in both forms.

Are the demo images licensed for my spa site?

No. The vendor states that the images used in the demos are presentational only and require a separate license from a stock image source before you can publish them.

BLO

BLO, by XpeedStudio, keeps page content in Elementor with ElementsKit widgets while headers, footers, mega menus and module switches live in the Unyson framework and the WordPress Customizer. The article explains what that split means in daily editing, how the demo import arrived in version 4.3, what EmailKit adds for WooCommerce mail, and why the styles ship compiled from Sass rather than as a tidy editable stylesheet.
