Bizix

WordPress theme

Bizix is a Softwebmedia corporate theme where most of the site's appearance is configured in the WordPress Customizer and a theme panel rather than in the page builder: header media, title and breadcrumb toggles, footer column count, sidebar side, layout width and per-element typography are all set there. Elementor handles page content, with the theme's custom elements coming from a companion plugin that must stay in step with theme releases.

Where Bizix actually stores its design decisions

Open the WordPress Customizer on a Bizix install and most of what a visitor sees is decided there. According to the vendor's feature list, the Customizer carries an advanced theme customiser, unlimited skins, site width, typography, logo height and layout padding, while a separate theme panel holds header style options and a Customizer Manager. Elementor is where page bodies get built, but it is not where the frame around them comes from.

That split matters for whoever inherits the site. A marketing coordinator adding a page changes content in Elementor; a developer changing the footer's column count or the sidebar position changes the theme settings once and every page follows. Knowing which layer to touch avoids the common mistake of rebuilding a header inside a page template that already controls it.

Header and footer controls that repeat across every page

The vendor describes header behaviour page by page: you can attach an image or a Revolution Slider to any page or post, and enable or disable the page title and breadcrumbs individually. For a corporate site with a handful of section landing pages, that means a services page can open on a photographic banner with a title, while a legal page drops the banner and keeps a plain heading.

Footer control is the other end. The vendor lists a 1-to-5 column widget option, with colour, text size, background and border editable per footer section. Because it is a widget area, a three-column footer with company information, a link list and contact details is a matter of dropping widgets — the theme ships Company Information, Contact Info, Posts Slider, Recent Posts and Two Column List Menu widgets for exactly that.

Sidebar position (left, right or full width) and a wide or boxed layout belong to the same family of settings, with the vendor claiming full control over site width including content area and sidebars. Decide these once at the start of a project; changing the container width later shifts every Elementor section you have built.

Unlimited skins and a font panel that asks for restraint

Bizix advertises unlimited skins, and the typography options go deeper than a single body font picker. The vendor lists 600+ Google Fonts with separate size settings for H1 through H6, body text, the top menu, footer and sidebar, plus line-height values for each. Individual skins can be exported and imported through the Customizer Export/Import plugin the theme panel offers to install.

Six hundred fonts is a menu, not a recommendation. The practical use of a font panel this granular is consistency: set heading sizes and line heights in one place so an editor writing an Elementor page cannot drift into three different H2 sizes. Treat the export file as your backup of that work — it holds the colour and typography scheme, so a redesign round can be tested and reverted.

Elementor pages, Gyan Elements and the update pairing

Page content is built in Elementor, with Elementor Pro also named as compatible. The theme's own custom widgets ship from a companion plugin the changelog calls Gyan Elements, and the vendor attaches a standing note to the changelog: update that plugin alongside the theme so the Elementor custom elements stay current. A version mismatch between theme and plugin is the kind of thing that shows up as a broken widget rather than a clear error.

The changelog also shows how closely the two are tied. Releases in December 2024 and September 2025 fixed scheme option errors and a library option key constant error introduced by Elementor updates, and version 2.0.0 added 125 design blocks importable into Elementor plus individual page import from the admin and the Elementor editor. If your site depends on the theme's Elementor widgets, plan to test after any Elementor major release rather than assuming compatibility.

Sliders, images and what the package holds

Slider Revolution is bundled in its regular version, and the vendor's disclaimer is explicit about what that means: you can use the plugin with the theme, but you do not receive an individual licence to activate or download it independently, and updates arrive through theme releases instead of directly from the plugin author. The changelog reflects that pattern — most entries include an updated Slider Revolution build.

The included ThemeForest files are listed as PHP, CSS and JS. Child theme support is claimed, which is the sensible place for template overrides so a future theme update does not overwrite them, and a .pot file is included for translating the theme's own strings. The vendor also states that the demo photography is not in the package: images come from stock sources and need their own licence before use. Widget readiness is marked Yes, and unlimited sidebars are listed.

Declared compatibility and one attribute worth reading carefully

As observed on the marketplace in November 2026, the compatibility field lists WordPress 6.0.x through 7.0.x, WooCommerce 8.x.x, Contact Form 7, Elementor and Elementor Pro, with Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome and Edge named as tested browsers. These are declarations, not results from running the theme against your PHP version, hosting stack or plugin set — a staging install is still the check that counts.

Gutenberg Optimized is recorded as No. That describes whether the theme styles block-editor layouts as a priority; it does not mean the block editor is unavailable in WordPress. Read it as a signal that Bizix's editing surface is Elementor plus the Customizer, and judge the theme on that workflow.

Questions & answers

Can I use Bizix without Elementor?

The vendor's showcase and widget set are built around Elementor, and the theme's custom elements are delivered by the Gyan Elements companion plugin. Nothing in the supplied evidence describes a non-Elementor page-building route, so treat Elementor as part of the setup rather than an optional extra.

Do the theme's Elementor widgets update on their own?

No. The changelog asks you to update the Gyan Elements core plugin alongside the theme so the Elementor custom elements stay current, and several releases fixed breakage caused by Elementor's own updates. Keep the two in step and re-check your widgets after an Elementor major version.

Does the package include a Slider Revolution licence?

The vendor's disclaimer says the bundled plugin is the regular version and does not come with an individual licence to activate or download it separately. It works with the theme, but updates come through theme releases.

BLO

BLO, by XpeedStudio, keeps page content in Elementor with ElementsKit widgets while headers, footers, mega menus and module switches live in the Unyson framework and the WordPress Customizer. The article explains what that split means in daily editing, how the demo import arrived in version 4.3, what EmailKit adds for WooCommerce mail, and why the styles ship compiled from Sass rather than as a tidy editable stylesheet.

Business Lounge

Business Lounge, by RT-Themes, gives business and consulting sites a choice between two builder tracks: an Elementor path with 28 custom elements and a WPBakery path with 36, plus WPBakery premium bundled. The article covers that asymmetry, the two slider routes (Revolution Slider or the theme's own circle and carousel sliders), the colour and typography layer that sits above both builders, the seven custom widgets and four header layouts, and what the marketplace compatibility declarations actually cover as of November 2026.
