Bixol

WordPress theme

Bixol, by Case-Themes, is a cleaning-services WordPress theme built around Elementor and a large catalogue of pre-built layouts: the vendor lists 20 homepage demos split ten multi-page and ten one-page, 10 header layouts, and a separate footer builder. Two choices stand out for a cleaning company — an Images Before/After element for showing results, and a bundled Booked appointment booking plugin the vendor states is included. The vendor's feature list also claims 50+ Bixol widgets, Revolution Slider, RTL support and WPML/Polylang readiness; these are marketplace statements, not independent testing.

The before/after image element is the cleaning-specific part

Most of what the vendor lists for Bixol would suit any local service business: a slider, a sticky menu, colour options, contact form compatibility. One item in the feature list is particular to cleaning work — Images Before/After. A comparison element lets a visitor see a marked, dusty surface and the same surface cleaned, in one spot, without you building custom markup or asking an editor to crop two images into alignment by hand.

That matters for the sales conversation a cleaning company actually has. Window cleaning, carpet cleaning and end-of-tenancy work are judged on visible results, and a booking enquiry usually follows proof. The vendor does not say whether the comparison accepts two uploaded images per instance, how the divider behaves on touch screens, or how many you can place on a page. Check the element on a phone before you build a gallery of them.

The same logic applies to the smaller items in the list: carousel elements, section video backgrounds, parallax, CSS3 animations and a sticky header. They are presentation tools for the top of a page. Take the demo's use of them as a starting point and decide how much motion your own customers will tolerate.

Twenty homepages, split by how far a visitor scrolls

The feature list states 20 homepage demos: 10 multi-page and 10 one-page. The split is more useful than the number. A one-page demo keeps services, pricing, testimonials and the contact form on a single scroll with anchor navigation; a multi-page demo spreads the same content across separate service and about pages. That is a structural decision about how your site is navigated, and the demo you import sets it.

Because the demos are content you import rather than templates you switch on, choosing one is closer to choosing a starting document than flipping a setting. The vendor describes a one-click demo content import and says the demo content is included, with the theme ready to use from the box and content added to already designed pages afterwards. Expect to replace copy and photography in whichever structure you import rather than mixing several.

For a business with a single service line and a short sales cycle, the one-page variety is the shorter route. If you serve several distinct services — domestic, commercial, deep clean, post-construction — the multi-page half of the catalogue gives each one a page to rank and link to.

Headers and footers are assembled, not inherited

Bixol lists 10 header layouts alongside a Footer Builder. Ten is a lot of navigation treatments for one theme, and the practical effect is that the header is a decision you make rather than a fixed part of the shell you inherit. Sticky behaviour on scroll is listed separately, so it applies to whichever header you choose.

A footer builder changes the order of work. Instead of picking a demo and living with its footer, you assemble the bottom of the site from parts — the address and service-area block, opening hours, the enquiry prompt, social links — and reuse it across pages. For a cleaning company whose footer usually carries a phone number and a service-area list, that reuse is worth setting up once and leaving alone.

The vendor does not describe the builder's interface or say whether footer layouts can be saved and applied per template. If the footer is doing real work in your design, confirm that before committing.

What the vendor says is bundled, and what the widgets are for

Two items on the feature list are named as bundled plugins: Revolution Slider, with the vendor noting a $49 saving, and Booked appointment booking, also marked as a $49 saving. The appointment plugin is the more consequential one for this trade, because a cleaning business often quotes before it books. A booking tool is a scheduling step, not a quoting engine — the vendor does not describe pricing rules, duration logic, staff assignment or how a request becomes a confirmed job.

The theme's own contribution to editing is described as 50+ custom widgets by Bixol inside Elementor. The vendor's framing is drag-and-drop page building with no programming knowledge required. What the widget count means in practice depends on whether the named widgets cover cleaning-specific content — service cards, pricing tables, team or staff blocks, testimonials — or general-purpose layout pieces you could assemble from Elementor's default set. The listing does not break the list down.

Treat both bundled-plugin statements as marketplace claims about the product. They describe what the vendor says ships, not what any particular copy of the files contains.

Editing happens in Elementor, and the theme options live elsewhere

Pages are built in Elementor, which the vendor also lists as a compatible plugin alongside Elementor Pro. The structured listing marks Gutenberg Optimized as No. That field records optimisation for the block editor; it does not remove the block editor from WordPress, and it fits a theme whose page building happens in the Elementor canvas.

Type and colour sit outside the page builder. The vendor describes advanced typography options drawing on the Google fonts library through a theme options panel, plus unlimited colour options and theme options in a real-time WP Customizer. The description also names the vafpress options framework as the theme's foundation. So a build involves two places to work: layout in Elementor, global type and palette in the customizer and panel.

The vendor also mentions demo content and video tutorials. Documentation is described as extensive, and the marketplace documentation attribute reads Well Documented.

Language, file types and the compatibility claims

Bixol lists RTL Language Support in its feature list and names WPML for multilingual layouts, with Polylang also mentioned. Those are readiness claims about the theme, not a record of a translated build; how much of your text lives in Elementor widgets versus theme options affects what a translation plugin can reach.

The marketplace files field lists PHP, CSS, SCSS, JS and PSD files. PSD sources help if your design process starts in Photoshop, though the listing does not say how many files that set contains.

Compatibility declarations, as observed on the marketplace listing on 4 November 2026, span WordPress 4.9.x through 7.0.x and name Elementor, Elementor Pro, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce 5.x through 9.x, WPML, bbPress, BuddyPress, Jetpack, Events Calendar and Bootstrap 4.x and 5.x. The vendor's own description additionally mentions Facebook, Easy Digital Downloads and WP EasyCart. These are stored declarations rather than results from running the theme on your host. The listing's latest marketplace version was 1.7.2 at that observation; the version in any copy you obtain is a separate question.

Questions & answers

Does Bixol include a booking system or just a contact form?

The vendor's feature list names Booked appointment booking as included, with a stated $49 value. Contact Form 7 compatibility is listed separately. Neither is a quoting tool — the description does not cover pricing rules, duration logic or staff scheduling, so test the booking flow against how your business actually accepts jobs.

Can the homepage be one long page or does it have to be multi-page?

Both are offered. The vendor lists 20 homepage demos split evenly: 10 multi-page and 10 one-page. Since the demos arrive as imported content, the one you import determines the structure you start from.

Do I need to know code to change the design?

The vendor describes Elementor as drag-and-drop and says no programming knowledge is required. Global type and colours are handled through the theme options panel and the real-time WP Customizer, so colours and fonts do not require editing theme files. Custom CSS or template overrides would.

Is the theme translated already?

The feature list names RTL Language Support and lists WPML for multilingual layouts, with Polylang also mentioned. That indicates readiness for translation work; the theme does not claim to ship finished translations for your language.

Act, by KlbTheme, is organised around raising money rather than around a page builder: the seller lists a crowdfunding system, GiveWP, Stripe, PayPal and offline donation routes, and templates for causes, events and a WooCommerce shop.
