A layout library you can raid one section at a time
The word "multi-concept" is doing heavy lifting in Mist's title, and the vendor backs it with a specific mechanism: 50+ demo layouts, plus import of individual pre-built layouts alongside the one-click import of a full demo with its sliders and widgets. That second option is the one that changes how you work. You can take a pricing table or a team grid from a layout aimed at a completely different sector and drop it into a build, without inheriting that demo's header, colours or front page.
Layouts across corporate, agency, restaurant, medical, wedding, charity and portfolio scenarios are the vendor's claim, not a survey of your niche. Treat the count as a starting menu. The practical question when you preview is whether the section you want is built from ordinary WPBakery rows and shortcodes, which you can restyle, or from something bespoke you would have to fight.
Header and colour choices attached to pages, not to the install
Zozothemes lists unlimited header layouts chosen on each page, alongside unlimited colour schemes and hide/show controls for most elements. Per-page headers matter more than they sound on a site with more than one audience. A shop page can run a slim sticky bar while a campaign landing page gets the full navigation with a push menu and mega menu; the two do not have to agree.
The same logic applies to colour. A single global palette is fine until you need a distinct look for an event or a sub-brand without a second install. Whether the per-page colour controls go as deep as the marketing suggests is something only the demo or a staging copy will settle.
One-page builds and conventional multi-page sites from the same theme
The vendor lists one-page and multi-page layouts, boxed or wide containers, sticky headers and one, two and three column content layouts. Those are structural decisions rather than decoration. A freelancer or studio often wants a scrolling single page with anchored sections; an organisation with services, team and contact pages wants separate templates.
Mist is advertised as supporting both, which is why the theme suits someone who is not yet sure which shape the project will take. Column control, meanwhile, is what keeps long text blocks from stretching to unreadable widths on wide displays.
Portfolio and blog variety, including masonry
For a portfolio-heavy business site, the relevant lines are 20+ portfolio variations, multiple portfolio list and single layouts, multiple blog list and single layouts, and a masonry blog layout. Post formats cover standard, video, gallery, music, link, quote and image entries, so a video-led project page and a plain article do not need to look identical.
A child theme is included, which is the sensible place for design changes you want to survive an update. The marketplace bundle lists PHP, CSS and JS files, with no layered design files mentioned.
Widgets and one form, not a form plugin collection
Mist's own widget set covers the social and newsletter furniture a business site tends to need: Twitter, video, Flickr, Instagram, Facebook and Mailchimp widgets among 10+ custom widgets, with social icons in the header and footer. If your site's output is mostly feeds and a signup box, that removes a round of plugin styling.
Forms need a careful read. The vendor states a Bootstrap form is included, while Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms are supported but not bundled. Gravity Forms appears in the compatibility list; Contact Form 7 does not. Plan on installing and styling your own form solution, or on using the included Bootstrap form if its fields fit.
What the listing declares about builders, plugins and WordPress versions
Page composition runs through WPBakery Page Builder, which the vendor describes as included. The compatibility declarations observed on 4 November 2026 name WPBakery, Bootstrap 4.x, WooCommerce 7.x through 9.x, Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, bbPress 2.6.x, Easy Digital Downloads, Gravity Forms and WPML, with WordPress versions from 6.2.x through 7.0.x. Gutenberg Optimized is marked Yes.
These are marketplace attributes, not results from testing this theme against your PHP version, plugin set or host. Slider Revolution is described in the vendor's feature list as bundled; confirm what your actual package contains before you build a homepage around it.
Demo imagery is not part of the package
The vendor says plainly that images are for demo purposes and are not included with the theme files. Budget for photography, or shoot it, before you promise a launch date built on the look in the preview. That single note affects multi-concept themes more than most: the visual variety in the demos comes largely from pictures you have to licence yourself.
Questions & answers
Do I need WPBakery Page Builder to edit Mist?
The theme is built around WPBakery, and the vendor lists the builder as included in the package and in the compatibility attributes. Gutenberg Optimized is marked Yes in the marketplace listing, but that attribute says nothing about whether the demo layouts are editable as blocks. The layouts themselves are WPBakery compositions.
Is Contact Form 7 bundled with Mist?
No. The vendor's feature list says a Bootstrap form is included, while Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms are described as supported but not included. Gravity Forms appears in the compatibility list; Contact Form 7 does not. You install and configure whichever form plugin you want to use.
Can I use the photos from the Mist demo?
Not from the theme files. The vendor states that images are only for demo purposes and are not included with the original theme files. You need to license or create your own imagery for the site.
