Constructo

WordPress theme

Constructo, by Anps, is a construction and renovation theme whose changelog shows a second editing route arriving late: Elementor full support is logged in version 5.0.0, after years of WPBakery-led releases. The article follows what that timing means for demo choice, how per-page header, footer and layout settings let one install carry a landing page alongside service and project pages, and what the shop, slider and translation options actually cover.

One builder came first, and the changelog shows which

Anps presents Constructo as "fully compatible with Elementor" and says the theme includes WPBakery Page Builder, formerly Visual Composer. The marketplace compatibility attributes list Elementor, Elementor Pro and WPBakery side by side, which makes the two look like equal partners.

The release history says otherwise. Version 5.0.0, dated 06.12.2025, lists "Elementor page builder full support" — a milestone that arrives after years of releases built around WPBakery rows and shortcodes. What follows is steady Elementor work: 5.0.2 fixes portfolio widget categories, 5.0.3 adds Elementor demo 12, and 5.1.0 introduces a Tour demo explicitly marked "only for elementor." WPBakery meanwhile still receives targeted repairs, such as the inner-row padding and full-width row fixes in 5.0.3 and 5.0.4, and an RTL fix in 5.0.1.

So settle the builder question before you look at demos. A site your team will maintain in Elementor and one built from WPBakery rows are different ongoing commitments, and on this theme Elementor is the newer of the two paths.

The demo count does not add up, and demos are builder-specific

The vendor's feature block advertises "11 Ready-Made Demos with 1-Click Import," while the description summary says to "choose from 14 ready-made demos." Both come from the same listing and disagree, so treat any figure as approximate.

The changelog is more useful than either number. Demos were added incrementally — Elementor demo 12 in 5.0.3, the Elementor-only Tour demo 14 in 5.1.0, new shop demo content in 5.0.9 — which means the library is not a uniform grid in which every design exists for both builders. If the layout you want turns out to be an Elementor build and your team works in WPBakery, you are rebuilding rather than importing.

The vendor's own one-click claim is that importing a demo yields a working site without extra plugins or manual setup. Treat that as a description of the importer rather than a promise about your plugin set; changelog entries such as "fixed demo import issue" in 4.4.1 and "demo import fixed" in 4.3.9 show that imports have needed repairs in the past.

Per-page header, footer and layout settings do the structural work

The vendor's Advanced Page Options section says layout, header, footer and other settings can be controlled "on a per-page basis," with the stated purpose of running focused landing pages, detailed project pages and service pages with different designs inside one theme.

For a contractor's site that is the practical mechanism. A front page built to convert, a repeatable project detail page and a service page for renovation or roofing each need different visual weight, and page-level header and footer control means you do not need a second install to strip the top bar on the landing page while interior pages keep full navigation.

Above that sits a global choice between full-width and boxed layouts, with your own background colour, pattern or image behind a boxed canvas. Unlimited sidebars are listed as part of the package, so a shop sidebar and a project sidebar do not have to share widget contents. Branding is handled through theme colour options, including four predefined schemes.

Slider, shop and contact form

Revolution Slider and Contact Form 7 are both named in the vendor's "what you get" list. On a construction site the slider usually occupies the hero band, so decide early whether the opening image sequence is built in the slider or in the page builder. Putting both in one section makes later edits harder to trace, and the changelog shows slider support being refreshed over time as part of general WordPress and plugin support.

WooCommerce is declared compatible, and the compatibility attributes name the 6.x through 9.x lines. The vendor frames the shop broadly — building materials, services, digital products or maintenance plans — so it is presented as a general storefront rather than a trade-specific catalogue. The changelog records recurring shop work: support entries for WooCommerce 9.6.0, 9.7.1 and 10.1.0 through 2025, guest checkout fixes, and shop demo content in 5.0.9.

One production note sits at the end of the vendor's feature list: the images used in the theme are not included. The photographs are stock-licensed and sold separately, so plan photography of real sites and crews.

Translation, right-to-left and the version claims

Three separate translation jobs are documented. WPML is listed as compatible and handles a multilingual site; RTL support shapes the layout for right-to-left languages such as Arabic or Hebrew, with a dedicated WPBakery RTL fix in version 5.0.1; and Codestyle localization compatibility covers translating the theme's own interface strings. A bilingual contractor site may need all three considered.

The declared software versions run from WordPress 4.9.x to a 7.0.x line, a wide range carried in the listing attributes rather than evidence of testing each release. Gutenberg is marked as optimized, and the changelog records "complete Gutenberg block editor support" back in version 4.2.0, when much of the theme's functionality was moved into the bundled Anps theme plugin. Those are vendor declarations; behaviour on your own WordPress and PHP build, with your plugin set, is worth confirming on a staging copy before the design work begins.

Questions & answers

Should I choose Elementor or WPBakery before importing a Constructo demo?

Yes. Both builders are documented as supported, but Elementor full support only arrives in version 5.0.0 and at least one demo — the Tour demo added in 5.1.0 — is marked Elementor-only. Pick the builder your team will maintain, then check the demo list against it.

How many demos does Constructo include?

The vendor's listing gives two different figures, an 11-demo feature block and a 14-demo summary line. The changelog shows demos added over successive releases, so treat the count as approximate and inspect the importer's list.

Can one install run a landing page, service pages and a shop?

The vendor documents per-page control over layout, header and footer, plus a wide-or-boxed global layout and unlimited sidebars, with WooCommerce declared compatible. That combination is built for mixed page types in a single install, though the result depends on how each page is configured.

Act

Act, by KlbTheme, is organised around raising money rather than around a page builder: the seller lists a crowdfunding system, GiveWP, Stripe, PayPal and offline donation routes, and templates for causes, events and a WooCommerce shop. This article follows the donation toolkit, the cause and event structure, the WPBakery-first editing workflow with its later Elementor demo, and the theme options panel that controls fonts and typography. Declared compatibility and archive contents are read as the seller's claims, not as tested results.
