Newsfy

WordPress theme

Newsfy combines post-format variety with per-article hero choices and reading aids for editorial sites.

Updated November 5, 2026 · theme.markets editorial team

Different post formats for different editorial roles

Newsfy’s vendor description emphasizes a mix of formats for presenting stories: grid, carousel, masonry, and slider post models, with more than 38 grid tile layouts. Its custom post widgets include an advanced query builder, giving editors controls over which posts appear in those elements as well as their visual arrangement. Five pagination types include numbered navigation, Ajax load more, and infinite scroll.

Article pages include reading and navigation aids

The description lists six single-post hero layouts and a setting to choose a hero layout for each post. This lets an editorial team vary the opening treatment article by article. A table of contents, reading progress bar, reading-time calculation, and post views counter add information around the article itself. Newsfy also lists automatic loading of the next post, though the source does not explain the transition behavior.

Site structure and appearance controls

Rather than limiting its templates to story feeds, Newsfy’s marketplace description includes header and footer builders, category and tag archive templates, sidebar templates, and a mega menu builder. A dark-mode switch can use a light, dark, or device-based setting, and the vendor also describes an option to keep the site in dark mode.

Elementor-based layout editing

RivaxStudio identifies Elementor as the drag-and-drop page builder and describes custom widgets for posts, navigation, and off-canvas elements. The vendor also marks the theme as Gutenberg optimized; that claim does not specify a separate set of block-editor features. Marketplace compatibility attributes list WordPress 6.4.x through 7.0.x, Elementor, WooCommerce, and bbPress. These are vendor declarations, not results from testing a current installation.

15Zine

15Zine, by Codetipi, treats scored reviews as first-class content rather than a star field bolted onto a blog layout: three score formats, unlimited criteria, unlimited pros and cons, and a setting for editor-only, reader-only or combined voting. The article follows that review object through single posts, the fixed grid and slider vocabulary used to assemble front pages and categories, the Jetpack stats dependency behind trending menus and view counts, and the styled shop and forum surfaces.

907

907, by webcreations907, is built so that individual pages can carry their own logo, colours, fonts and menu, with CSS page loaders switched on or off per page. The article covers that per-page model, the WPBakery-plus-Revolution-Slider package against Elementor as a compatibility entry, repeatable portfolio and blog loops with AJAX pagination, filterable portfolios with mouseover video, the 27 demos and 134 theme blocks, and what the changelog shows about maintenance.

Airtifact

Airtifact is a portfolio theme whose browsing layer runs on AJAX, with a one-click switch to turn that behaviour off, two navigation treatments, and a deliberately small in-house content builder rather than a mainstream page builder. Its project grids use Packery, Isotope or masonry with item filtering, and the vendor notes a limitation worth knowing before you plan a blog: only one of its two blog styles can be active at a time.
