Shortlist Authentic when the brief revolves around a photography-led lifestyle publication. Put Soledad beside it when the plan includes several editorial sections or multilingual presentation. This is a distinction in project fit, not a claim that either theme cannot serve the other use case. The source records give Soledad explicit multilingual and RTL positioning; they do not establish the same details for the available Authentic package.
Choose with an editorial specification
For a single-author journal, begin the decision with article typography and the prominence of photographs. For a magazine with translated sections, resolve navigation depth and language handling first. Authentic is the more focused starting candidate for the former brief; Soledad deserves the first evaluation for the latter. A large demonstration library does not itself make a small publication easier to maintain.
What a migration would involve
Moving between these themes means reviewing post presentation, menus and theme-dependent features. Estimate that work from the layouts already in use, rather than from demo counts. We have archive inventories for both downloads, but no timed migration trial or side-by-side rendering benchmark. The linked Authentic setup article documents its inspected plugin and demo-import behavior; it is not evidence that Soledad uses the same process.
